Students learn what, how, why and for whom they are teaching, providing a framework that they need in order to be instructors. This course introduces students to the fundamental themes of linguistics as a science. The complex and fascinating system of human language is studied as a continually evolving means of social communication.

This course studies the reality of 20th century Spain by analyzing film productions, from an aesthetic and historical perspective from the beginning of film-making to modern film.
